Custom Snowflake Background



Hello crafty friends! Today I have a card and a video with a winter theme using the Snowflake Whispers and Cool Buddies stamp sets. I love the beautiful snowflakes from Snowflake Whispers and I love creating a custom background. So I decided to layer the snowflakes using some Distress Oxide inks. You can get more details in the video:


Distress Oxide inks give great crisp impressions even on detailed images like these snowflakes. I added the fox from Cool Buddies because I knew the orange fox would really pop off the blue monochromatic card.

Ocean Critter Series Day 3: Create a Smile and Alcohol Inks

Hello crafty friends! Today is the third day in a week long series at  my YouTube channel  where I will be sharing cards and projects featuring ocean critters. I will also be having a small giveaway for those who leave comments on my videos. I will be using a variety of different ocean critters including today's octopus from Create a Smile Stamps . I am combining him with their fabulous dies . For my background I'm using Ranger Alcohol Inks on Bazzil vellum . I have a full description of the project in my video tutorial below. This card is also for the Create a Smile monthly challenge . This month the theme is Blue. This is perfect for summer and my critter series. 20 Cards with Doodlebug Hello Sunshine 6x6 Paper Pad

Hello crafty friends! Today I have another 6x6 Paper Pad tutorial featuring Doodlebug. I am obsessed with  Doodlebug 6x6 pads  because it is so easy to create a bunch of cards without using many extra supplies. I think their designs are adorable and I can easily whip up a bunch of cards for card drives like  Cards for Hospitalized Kids . If you want more info on donating card please check out my  Card Drive Resources  page. So today I'm using  Doodlebug Hello Sunshine 6x6 pad   while making 20 cards! Once I had made the 20 cards there was very little left over and I really felt like I got the most out of my pad. To see it all in action check out the video.
